Michelle Uchida

Cove coach

Head Coach: Marina High School

Michelle brings years of experience in the gym and in the classroom to Cove. Her coaching journey has included Central Coast Volleyball Club, Marina High School, Monterey High School and Stevenson, working with both boys and girls.

As an educator and a coach, Michelle understands that every young athlete learns and develops differently. She believes in meeting athletes where they are, challenging them to grow and creating an environment where they can build confidence through the process.

Michelle also sees coaching as a chance to keep learning herself, and to coach, inspire and grow alongside athletes who share her love for the game.

“I am so excited to be joining Cove VBC! I’m grateful for the opportunity to coach, inspire and grow alongside athletes who love this game as much as I do.”

We are excited to welcome Michelle to Cove and to have her passion for teaching and volleyball in the gym with us. 💙🏐
