A Peninsula native with more than 20 years of coaching experience, Izzy brings an impressive background to Cove VBC. His teams have captured a dozen league titles, a section championship and an Open Division Bronze Medal at Junior Nationals. Today, he serves as the head coach at Santa Catalina.

But for Izzy, coaching has always been about more than wins.

It’s about giving back to his community, and helping young athletes develop the confidence, character and life skills that last well beyond the court. And it’s about building the same kinds of relationships with athletes that made a difference in his own life.

That shared philosophy is exactly what brings Izzy to Cove VBC.
