Erica grew up playing in the region, starting at San Benito High School. She set for Gavilan College, then finished her career as an All-CCAA setter at California State Monterey Bay. Today she is the head coach of both the indoor and beach volleyball programs at Gavilan College, where she also teaches kinesiology. She knows what the path from club to college looks like, because she walked it here.
